Makerspace Residency at Charles Library

The Loretta C. Duckworth Scholars Studio (LCDSS) at Charles Library is accepting applications for the Makerspace Residency, which is open to artists, musicians, scholars, and interdisciplinary practitioners. This program aims to support the development of new creative work and/or practice-based research for a short-term project.

Residents will have access to the collections of Temple Libraries, extensive LCDSS facilities including its Makerspace and VR (Virtual Reality) lab and will receive guidance and technical instruction from LCDSS staff Monday through Friday.

Successful applicants will be awarded a $500 honorarium and up to $500 to cover material costs. Applications are open until March 11, 2024 for the Spring 2024 Makerspace Residency.
