I am a faculty member in the Department of Sociology at Temple University.  I have a secondary appointment at the Center for Asian Health in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.  My research interests include sociology of knowledge, self & society, new media, and mental health.  I am currently studying the impact of society on the production of knowledge and truth.
