I am a faculty member in the Department of Sociology at Temple University.  I have a secondary appointment at the Center for Asian Health in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.  My research interests include sociology of knowledge, self & self-concept, new media, mental health, and metatheory.  I am currently studying the paradox of situated knowledge.
