Academic Programs lead for the Academic Partnerships and Outreach (APO) sub-division within the Office of the Chief Learning Officer (OCLO) within CISA
Ms. Webster joined the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in July of 2020 and currently serves as the Academic Programs lead for the Academic Partnerships and Outreach (APO) sub-division within the Office of the Chief Learning Officer (OCLO) within CISA.
In this role, she oversees the CyberCorps®: Scholarship for Service (SFS) and National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) programs. The SFS program seeks to bolster the federal cadre of cybersecurity professionals by providing scholarships to students in exchange for service in Federal, State, local, tribal or territorial government. The NCAE-C program seeks to reduce vulnerability in our national information infrastructure by promoting higher education and expertise in cybersecurity.
Prior to joining CISA, Ms. Webster worked as a program manager for the CAE in Cybersecurity Community at California State University, San Bernardino’s (CSUSB) Cybersecurity Center. In addition, she taught several cybersecurity courses for CSUSB’s Information and Decision Sciences (IDS) department. Ms. Webster graduated from CSUSB with a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice in 2012 and went on to earn her Master of Arts in National Security Studies at CSUSB in 2015.
