In the RISE lab, we design, control and test wearable systems of robots and sensors. From our investigations we aim to:
- Improve human gait performance by building light-weight, efficient, and safe powered devices.
- Provide real world measurements of gait and balance to better inform patients and clinicians.
- Make devices more responsive to human intent by improving the human-robot interface.
- Improve the learning and retention of humans using wearable devices by investigating the Neuromechanics of gait.
