Director

Dr. Fauzia Ahmad is an Associate Professor in Temple University’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the Director of the Multimodal Sensing and Imaging Laboratory. Prior to joining Temple University in 2016, she was a Research Professor and Director of the Radar Imaging Lab at the Center for Advanced Communications, Villanova University. She received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1997 from the University of Pennsylvania. Her research interests lie in the areas of statistical signal and array processing, computational imaging, machine learning, waveform design, radar systems including SAR, MIMO radar, and passive radar, and compressive sensing. She has coauthored eight book chapters and 230+ journal and conference papers in the aforementioned areas.
