Cover letter
Hi Everyone. My name is Iman Osman, and I am an emerging writer and director based in Philadelphia, PA. As a first-generation college student and child of immigrants, I have developed a strong sense of adaptability and social awareness through navigating diverse challenges. These experiences have shaped my work ethic and deepened my appreciation for inclusive storytelling and diverse perspectives, which I believe are essential in the creative industries.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have actively sought opportunities to strengthen my skills in creative problem-solving, collaboration, and working under pressure. From customer service roles to directing short films, I have learned to adapt quickly, find innovative solutions, and support my team in achieving shared goals.
I have completed internships in both Pennsylvania and Los Angeles, which have provided me with valuable industry experience and insight into different creative environments. As a graduating senior, I am excited to continue developing my skills and contributing meaningfully to dynamic, fast-paced teams. I look forward to learning from experienced professionals and collaborating with others who share my passion for storytelling.
Best,
Iman Osman
