COVER LETTER

I, Iman Osman, am an emerging writer and director based in Philadelphia, PA. As a first-generation college student and child of immigrants, I am no stranger to the adaptability and social consciousness required to navigate the challenges of an ever-changing world. Although these experiences have resulted in some inequities in my access to the creative industries, these are the exact things that have shaped my strong work ethic and deep appreciation for diverse perspectives, which are essential in the fast-paced entertainment industry.

Throughout my academic and professional journeys, I have actively sought out opportunities to enhance my ability to work under pressure and think outside the box to solve complex problems. Whether in customer service or directing short films, I’ve learned to pivot in challenging circumstances, find innovative solutions, and encourage my team towards our goal. I thrive in environments that require creative problem-solving and collaboration, and I’m confident that these skills will allow me to contribute meaningfully to any creative team

As a rising senior,  I have yet to finalize any postgraduate plans; however, working with this company would provide the perfect setting to continue developing my skills while contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. I am beyond excited about the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and bring my personal skill set to the creative industries that I aspire to work in.

Best,

Iman Osman
