Yunqian (Joy) Zou, firstname.lastname@example.org
Yunqian came from Chengdu, China, and earned her B.Sc. in Chemistry at Purdue University in 2018. She worked on hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) and reverse phase chromatography (RPC) for
antibody IgG1 separation in undergraduate research. She earned Chemistry master’s degree at Ball State University in 2020, focused on studying the selective reduction of m-dinitrobenzene to m-nitroaniline
and m-phenylenediamine by Ag/TiO2 initiated photocatalysis.
Yunqian joined the Borguet Group in Fall 2020, and her Ph.D. study focuses on non-linear optics research. Her project will be investigating the molecular dynamics at near solid oxide/water interface using second harmonic generation (SHG) and sum-frequency generation (SFG) techniques.
