Tyler is originally from Stroudsburg, PA, and graduated from Stroudsburg High School. She graduated from Temple, receiving a B.Sc. in Chemistry, with hopes of entering a Ph.D. program after graduation. Her research areas of interest are in physical and inorganic chemistry. Other interests of hers are spectroscopy, catalysis, and cosmochemistry!
Tyler joined the Borguet Group in the Fall of 2021 where she evaluated the role of pH, metal oxyhydroxides, and Lewis acidity of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and their precursors on the catalytic hydrolysis of chemical warfare simulants. She thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Borguet Group and looks forward to future discoveries.
