My name is Paula and I’m an exchange student from the University of Oviedo in Spain. My major is Chemistry and I am
expected to graduate in Spring 2026. I came to the US in order to improve both my English and my Chemistry skills, which is why I decided to join Dr. Borguet’s group, where I focus on the study of COF-supported zirconium oxyhydroxide as a possible catalyst for ATP hydrolysis. After college, I would like to attend graduate school and continue research in organic or physical chemistry. Apart from the lab, I love hiking and reading (both fantasy books and scientific articles).
