After undergraduate research with the Borguet Group, Kessler attended Northwestern University’s School of Medicine’s integrated graduate program and earned a Ph.D in Microbiology and Immunology. She then became an IRACDA Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
