Dr. Allison Pymer
Dr. Allison Pymer performed undergraduate research that addressed surface characteristics of the mineral/aqueous interface in the Borguet group from 2005 through 2008. As a result of her research she made a number of conference presentations, garnered awards, and was co-author on a paper.
Allison moved to Berkley for graduate studies in the Stephen Leone Research group, shifting her scientific focus to time-resolved gas phase dynamics. She graduated in 2014 after submitting her dissertation, titled “Ultrafast Molecular Dynamics Studied Via Extreme-Ultraviolet Transient Absorption Spectroscopy”.
Allison is currently employed by Eastman Chemical Company as an Advanced Chemist.
