Kamal Wagle
I was born in Nepal, where I received both my B. Sc. and M. Sc. degree majoring in Physics from Tribhuvan University (TU). My research experience as a part of M. Sc. thesis was on, “First principles study of adsorption of a water molecule on mono-layer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2)”. I was admitted to the Physics Department at Temple University in Fall 2015. My previous work at Temple involved growing ultra-thin MgB2 superconducting films and performing their characterization.
I joined the Borguet group in February 2017 and focused on understanding electronic and structural properties of two dimensional materials using optical and scanning probe techniques.
