She wants to utilize her expertise in the future to assist and work in populations experiencing systemic barriers to essential dental services. Outside the lab, she is a nail tech/artist and loves exploring new spots for a good coffee or matcha.

Alex is a third-year dental student with interests in pediatric dentistry and research, as well as special needs dentistry. She is passionate about being a provider who helps patients feel comfortable, confident, and even excited about their dental care. Outside of school, Alex enjoys spending time at the beach, exploring the Philadelphia food scene, and working on puzzles.

Thai Ah-Lei Young
Dental Student
Thai is a 3rd-year dental student from Miami, FL, who is interested in public health dentistry, pediatric research, and closing the oral health disparity gap in America among minorities. Thai is the president of the Student National Dental Association (SNDA) at Temple ’25-26. Outside of the lab, he is an art dealer/curator, avid film watcher, tennis player, lover of humanity, and a big-time foodie.

He is passionate about preventing oral disease and helping patients maintain healthy, confident smiles through education and personalized care. Outside of school, Kevin enjoys exploring new restaurants, attending sporting events, and traveling to experience new cultures.
