Research Topic

I have decided to research the gayborhood in Philadelphia for my project. As previously stated, I want to explore a community’s relationship to a geographical space. What attracts them to one part of the city as opposed to another? What resources are available to them? What resources not available or explicitly restricted? How was the LGBTQ+ community able to foster a sense of family in their corner of the city? What did people do to try to break up this family? How does the geographical space evolve across time? These are the questions I want to look into as I continue my research.
