Dr. Nancy Pleshko is the Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies of the College of Engineering and the Laura H. Carnell Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. She is recognized for her research on the development of vibrational spectroscopy applications for evaluation of connective tissues. Dr. Pleshko has substantial expertise in basic and translational research in connective tissue pathophysiology and orthopedics, including osteoarthritis and cartilage repair, osteoporosis, osteogenesis imperfecta and other bone pathologies. She has over 120 publications, and has received over $8 million in research funding.
