At Temple University, the students were given a choice to either continue their work within studies programs constantly wanting change, or to stop and demand change. The Temple University Graduate Students Association, TUGSA, decided to strike for the 1st time in the union’s history, and even better they were successful. Within this podcast, we are going to explore the course of TUGSA’s strike while also placing an emphasis on their use of social media to spread awareness, end the strike, and have their demands met.
