Advocacy

What is Science Advocacy?

Advocacy bridges the scientific community with members of the general public, as well as policy makers and storytellers in the media, to increase public trust and support for science. This ensures the continued funding of groundbreaking research and successful implementation of discoveries.

We hope to provide researchers at Lewis Katz School of Medicine an opportunity to inspire young people and appreciate the social/policy dimension to their research through educational outreach, citizen science, and relationship building with local communities.
