2020 Diversity Symposium

The 2020 Diversity Symposium, “Reinvigorating the 3 A’s: Academic, Activism, and Action”  was held on October 20th, 2020 via Zoom.

The Symposium presented some of the country’s leading experts in a variety of subject areas presented in a half-day virtual format.

  • Watched and discussed the short film “Invisible and Vulnerable: Celebrating Our Essential Workers” Moderator: Dr. Sonja Peterson-Lewis
  • Participated in the discussion “Creating Communities Free from Bondage & Exploitation” Moderator: Elizabeth L. Sweet
  • Attended the workshop “Bringing our Authentic Selves to the Classroom” Moderators: Professor David W. Brown and Dr. Valerie Dudley
  • Viewed Temple University’s screening of “From Safe to Brave: A drama about Race in America”
