Solar System Rotation Curve

A rotation curve for the Solar system.

This is a plot of each planet’s (and dwarf planet’s) average rotational velocity in its orbit around the Sun, plotted against its average distance from the Sun. The curve that they trace out is the “rotation curve” for our Solar system, which is “Keplerian” in that it follows the predictions of Kepler’s laws of motions.
