Fe[26] – A 2048/1028/Threes-style Fusion Game

Dimitar Dimitrov and Kevin O’Connor were students in an astronomy course I taught at RPI, and created this game as part of a project for this course. I served as the “science advisor” for this project, and it turned out really well. Several astronomers have told me they use this in upper-level astrophysics courses as a point of discussion.

Dimitar’s and Kevin’s creation went viral on the internet for a short time, and they were interviewed by Popular Mechanics and received mention on Gizmodo.
