Overview
The Public Health Beyond Borders Global Reach Initiative is Temple’s leading effort to promote global health collaborations through student-led action and faculty-led research. The initiative has two components, the Public Health Beyond Borders Student-Led International Action Projects and Temple’s Public Health Beyond Borders faculty-Led Global Research and Training.
Mission
Engage students and faculty to partner with global communities and institutions in multidisciplinary efforts to identify and effectively address public health challenges through translational research, educational activities, methods training, and community capacity building to improve the public’s health and build lasting health agency and public health capacity.
Meet the People
The initiative draws upon the mentorship and guidance of experienced faculty members. In pursuit of this objective, we have established a PHBB Advisory Committee responsible for guiding the efforts of students. The committee plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and excellence of educational activities and materials.
