Have an idea?
The Political & Civil Rights Society is looking for articles written by law students and legal professionals approaching political and civil rights issues from a legal or policy standpoint with support for assertions from reputable sources. Successful submissions will approach issues from a unique perspective.
Technical Guidelines
Once you have a topic idea in mind, your article should conform to the Political & Civil Rights Society’s technical guidelines. Articles can focus on any current political or civil rights issue, construed broadly. Possible topics range from voting rights to environmental rights, from religious freedoms to probation reforms, and from the rights of juveniles to those of persons affected by international armed conflict. Articles may be adapted from class papers.
We consider articles of up to 40 pages. We are also looking to publish blog posts that are between 500—2500 words. Submitted articles must be footnoted in accordance with The Bluebook (Twenty First Edition) and comply with the Chicago Manual of Style. Both of these resources are available in the Temple Law library.
