Data-Driven Modeling (DDM) helps us to find a connection between the system states and system outputs without having a knowledge of the system. In DDM, we try to find the tractable model from data for real-time analysis and control. We are working on developing sparse promoting techniques to find a model of highly nonlinear dynamical systems like Lithium-ion batteries. In order to use the advantage of linear systems, we are working on the Koopman operator, to find a linear model for modern dynamical systems. DDM gives us the opportunity to work on complex nonlinear dynamical systems in an applicable way.
