Raffle Contest Rules

Attention students! Interested in a free travel-inspired giveaway? Throughout International Education Week (Nov 15-19, 2021), we’ll be hosting giveaways where you could win an international swag bag! Follow @templeuabroad on Instagram, comment on our IEW RAFFLE POSTS, and tag 2 friends for your chance to win some international swag. Make sure your friends are also following us. Comment on event event raffle post by the time the event begins for your chance to win. Plus, attend any of our official IEW events for your chance to win our grand prize – a 3-piece luggage set.

Prizes will be picked up at the Education Abroad Office after International Education Week concludes. If the specific item shown is no longer available, winners will receive a similar item.

To win any prize, you must be a current matriculated undergraduate student from Temple or a student of our partner institutions across the U.S., and you must tag fellow students.

Winners will be announced on social media, our website, and other platforms. By participating in this contest, you agree to have your name and likeness used by Education Abroad, Temple University and its agents for promotional purposes.

Please be advised that all or a portion of your award may be included in your gross income to the extent that the aggregate amount you receive exceeds (a) tuition and fees required to enroll in, or to attend an educational institution, or (b) fee, books, supplies and equipment that are required for the courses of instruction at Temple University. See IRS Notice 87-31. Therefore, you may be liable for federal income taxes on all or a portion of the award.  If you are uncertain as to the federal tax treatment of your award, you should seek the advice of a tax professional.
