ABOUT ME:
I earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Univesity of California, Berkeley, an M.A. in Economics, and a B.A. in Economics and Statistics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
I joined Temple University’s School of Business and Management in 1984, serving as the chairman of the Finance Department. In 1990 I joined Temple University’s Economics Department. I retired in 2023 and now enjoy life as a Professor Emeritus.
I held visiting appointments at the University of Pennsylvania, the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology), and Sofia University in Bulgaria. I was a faculty member in the Economics Department of Tel Aviv University. Before moving to academia, he held research positions at Abt Associates, Inc., the Rand Corporation, and the World Bank.
I served as an officer in an armored brigade in the IDF.
