International Projects

Engineers Without Borders started in 2000 when Dr. Bernard Amadei visited San Pablo, Belize, to assess the water supply. What he found was an indigenous community that lacked clean water and sanitation. Following that, Dr. Amadei returned back to the University of Colorado Boulder and gathered a team of students and colleagues to come up with potential solutions. From this single project, Engineers Without Borders was born.

Temple EWB strives to continue the work of Dr. Amadei by partnering with NGOs and underserved communities to build a better and more sustainable world. These projects allow our members to gain vital skills in leadership, communication, engineering design, fundraising, and more.
