Earth Day was originally held on the 22nd of April in 1970, protesting against the destruction of the environment that was taking place around the world.

  • Earth Day is to raise awareness on climate issues and climate change.
  • Many different events take place on Earth Day, however many members believe that the movement should be an “everyday” thing.
