About the Kitchen

The Teaching Kitchen is a state-of-the-art culinary space located in the heart of Temple University at Paley Hall. This space is equipped with commercial grade appliances and equipment that offer opportunities for a wide range of cooking styles and techniques. Around the perimeter of the room are six stations—each with an induction stovetop, oven, and sink. The center of the room offers a customizable space with mobile tables and chairs that can be moved to best suit any event. The front of the room serves as the demonstration station with an induction stovetop, oven, sink, and overhead hood. The Teaching Kitchen is equipped with technology, including six TVs throughout the room, cameras, and a sound system, to elevate the experience of any event.
