The Temple University Child and Adolescent Anxiety Disorders Clinic (CAADC) provides evidence-based services for children and teens with anxiety, using a cognitive-behavioral treatment approach. In addition to our clinical work, we are always evaluating the effectiveness of our approaches, and adapting treatments based on the child’s individual needs. We are staffed by advanced doctoral graduate students who are supervised by licensed Ph.D. clinical psychologists. Philip C. Kendall, Ph.D., ABPP, is our clinic director.
We are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on the main campus of Temple University. If you believe your child could benefit from our services, you may contact us at (215) 204-7165 or info@childanxiety.org for further information. See the Treatment page for more information about our services.
We provide community outreach presentations to schools in the area! Typically we give presentations on anxiety to kids and teens, parents/caregivers, and people who work with children such as teachers and counselors. The contents of the presentation would include identifying signs of anxiety, learning to cope when it might be time to seek services, and how to go about that. If this is something you would be interested in, please (215) 204-7165 or info@childanxiety.org for further information.
