Thinking Traps

Everyone talks to themselves. We call these thoughts that pop up “automatic thoughts” or “self talk.” We do this in stressful situations, and we usually imagine bad things will happen. These thoughts can make us even more nervous because we may think they are true. Some of the “thinking traps” you could fall into when experiencing negative self talk are listed below.
