Dr. Sepideh Afsari
Sepideh was born and brought up in Tehran, Iran. She got her B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from Sharif University of Technology in 2005. After obtaining her M.Sc. degree in Analytical Chemistry from Isfahan University of Technology in 2009, she joined the Borguet Group as a research assistant working toward a Ph.D.
Sepideh’s research was focused on understanding electrochemical reactions at the single molecule level by applying Scanning Tunneling Microscopy techniques (EC-STM) as well as single molecule conductivity.
In December of 2015, Sepideh graduated from Temple University with a Ph.D. She is currently a post-doc at the University of Colorado.
