Hi, my name is Emma Battista. I am from Vienna, Virginia but have visited Philadelphia many
times since I have a lot of family that live here. I am a biology and anthropology double major
seeking to study biochemistry at the graduate level after I complete my undergraduate degree.
This current goal is what inspired me to join the Borguet Group, so to expand my exposure and
understanding of chemical lab work and research, helping me prepare for my future studies. My
additional academic interests include anatomy, archaeology, and math. Other than my academics,
I thoroughly enjoy sewing, reading, and hanging out with my cat, Tiny.
