Hao Li, haoli.tu@gmail.com
Hao Li completed his bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Chaohu University (2009 – 2013) and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China (2013 – 2019) under the supervision of Prof. Shanxi Tian. During his Ph.D., he focused on developing a high-resolution anionic imaging spectrometer for vibrational and steric effects in dissociative electron attachment of small molecules, such as 3- or 4-atomic molecules. In December 2019, he earned his Ph.D. degree.
In November 2019, he joined Prof. Zhou Lu’s lab at Anhui Normal University (2019 – 2022) as an assistant professor and worked on femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy (UV/Vis pump-broadband white light probe) and femtosecond Sum frequency generation vibrational/electronic spectroscopy for tracking the ultrafast vibrational and electronic dynamics of the molecule, molecular aggregates, and semiconductor, etc.
Currently, Hao is continuing his postdoctoral research in the United States as a member of Borguet’s Group (Temple University). His research is primarily based on the adsorption of chemical warfare agents on porous material, afterglow photocatalysis for detoxifying chemical warfare, and the “bond softening” based on a novel surface-specific vibrational spectroscopy.
