The winged visitors on Temple’s campus can be classified into three categories: birds you can expect to find year-round, birds that are only present seasonally (known as migrants), and birds that surprise us by making a pit-stop (rarities). You can view the pages linked below to see some photos of each type of bird, or you can use the eBird website to check out what has been seen lately. The Bar Charts feature is especially useful for predicting when you can see certain bird species at the University hotspot. As of August 22, 2023 there have been 113 species observed!
