The purpose of this website is to educate members of the Temple community about obstacles birds face when traversing an urban environment and how you can help our feathered friends safely pass through the area.
Additionally, this site serves as a resource for what to do if you find yourself face-to-face with an injured or deceased bird, on-campus or elsewhere.
We encourage you to explore all the pages and topics on this site so you can be an advocate for our avian guests. The College of Liberal Arts and the College of Science and Technology are working in partnership to mitigate avian fatalities, particularly in Mazur Hall, Gladfelter Hall, and the Science & Education Research Center and we hope you will pay particular attention to the following:
What do do if you find a stunned, injured, or dead bird on campus
How to help birds travel through the city safely
