Course Building and Teaching Workshop

The Barnes Club will be hosting a Course Building and Teaching Workshop with Dr. Monica Ricketts, Dr. Bryant Simon, and Dr. Ralph Young on Wednesday, April 21 @ 5:00-6:30 over Zoom. The workshop will provide ideas on effective teaching strategies for history classes, how to organize a syllabus, how to strike the right balance between readings and assignments, and more. The workshop hopes to help all graduate students further develop their teaching skills, whether you have taught multiple classes already or will teach your first course this upcoming Fall. We have included a google doc here as well so that graduate students interested in attending can submit questions in advance.
