Alumni Happy Hour with Dr. Jessica Bird

The Barnes Club will be hosting February’s Alumni Happy Hour next week on Thursday, February 25 @ 6:30-8:00PM with Dr. Jessica Bird. Please join the Barnes Club in welcoming Dr. Bird back to Temple for an informal conversation on researching, writing, navigating the job market both in and out of academia, and more.

Dr. Bird graduated from Temple after defending her dissertation titled “Do the Hustle: Municipal Regulation of New York City’s Underground Economy, 1970-Present.” Appointed a Mellon/ACLS Public Fellow in 2019, she now works as a Communications Project Manager for the Center for Court Innovation, a nonprofit organization that works to create a more humane justice system through research and partnering with other justice reformers.
