- This year’s Barnes Conference will be held Friday evening,
March 13 2026, and all day Saturday March 14 2026. Graduate
students can submit an abstract and a CV here using this
google form. Registration is due by January 16, 2026.

Center City Campus, located at 1515 Market Street. Head
inside and up to the fourth floor, where Barnes Club students
will greet you and sign you in.

- Registration is $50 for presenters and $25 for attendees.
Registration is free for all Barnes Club members. We accept
payment through our PayPal, @BarnesTemple, as well as cash
and check. Your registration fee includes dinner on Friday
evening,as well as breakfast, lunch, and coffee on Saturday.

is one of Philadelphia’s busiest neighborhoods, and there are
plenty of hotels near to TUCC. VisitPhilly, Philadelphia’s tourist
board, has resources available to help visitors decide where to
stay and has suggestions for fun activities to do.

- What sorts of papers does the Barnes Conference accept?
- Proposals from graduate students for individual papers or
panels are welcome on any topic, time period, or approach to
history. We welcome proposals that foreground public history
and digital humanities, and are eager to work with applicants in
these fields to facilitate their participation.

between fifteen and twenty minutes each, with comments and
