Dr. Yimin D. Zhang, Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Temple University, has been appointed an Associate Editor in the Radar Systems for the IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems.
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems is a bimonthly journal of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Aerospace and Electronic System Society (AESS) that publishes papers on the organization, design, development, integration, and operation of complex systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environment. These systems include, but not limited to, navigation, avionics, spacecraft, aerospace power, radar, sonar, telemetry, defense, transportation, automated testing, and command and control.
Dr. Zhang also serves on the editorial board of Signal Processing, a publication of the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) that features original research work, tutorial and review articles in all aspects of the theory and practice of signal processing. He previously served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing in 2010-2014 and 2015-2019, for IEEE Signal Processing Letters in 2006-2010, and for the Journal of the Franklin Institute in 2007-2013.
Dr. Zhang has authored more than 380 journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers on a wide range of signal processing topics. He is a Fellow of the IEEE and a Fellow of International Society of Optics and Photonics (SPIE). He is a mentor of the IEEE AESS Professional Network and Mentoring Program.
