September GBM Recap

Thanks for a great turnout for the first general body meeting of the year! It was so good to see new and returning members. If you couldn’t make it, here is the recap:

No dues this year! All you need to do is sign up via the Google form, and you’re in!

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5pm.

Wondering what being in ASCE means? We host guest speakers, do community service, attend social and networking events with young professionals, and attend site tours. Joining ASCE this year gives you access to all of these opportunities and more!

We also went over our partnership with the YMF, which stands for Younger Member’s Forum, and is made up of young civil engineering professionals under age 36. We partner with the YMF for social and networking events. Our “guest speaker” this month was our own senior advisor Ian Nelson! Ian gave info about the Temple Steel Bridge team.
