Anne Harlow
, of Reference and Information Services, gave a presentation about the International Association of Music Libraries.  She spoke about the history and mission of the organization, and its important work in the preservation of and access to all kinds of music worldwide.  Anne explained her work on the Outreach Committee of the organization.  Her presentation not only included slides of the conferences in Perigueux, France, and in Berkeley, California, but AAL was also treated to musical examples from the Old World and the New World.

Academic Publishing and the Future of the Book

Charles H. E. Ault, Director of Production and Electronic Publishing and Assistant Director of Temple University Press, spoke about the Press, its relationship with the library, and the future of the book. Also at the meeting, Lisa Panzer of the Blitman Library and Brian Schoolar of the Zahn Library introduced the collections and services they offer.
