My name is David Pinel and I’m a first-year Chemistry Master’s student at Sorbonne University. I’m currently doing a Master 1 internship with the Borguet group to work on the interaction of guest species (molecules and ions) with nanoporous materials (MOFs and COFs) and develop a method of in-situ optical detection of these guest species, with the help of graduate students. Later on, I’d like to do a PhD in physical chemistry, with more interest in spectroscopy or
thermodynamics.
