Curtis Senior Research Fellow in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox.temple.edu\/faculty-research\/academic-areas\/statistics-operations-and-data-science\/\">Department of Statistics, Operations, and Data Science<\/a> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fox.temple.edu\/\">Fox School of Business<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.temple.edu\/\">Temple University.<\/a>\u00a0He currently serves as the Director of PhD program in Statistics (2023 \u2013 now) and the Master\u2019s Program in Statistical Data Science (2023 \u2013 now); having previously led the Graduate Programs in Statistics (2016-2019).<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Tang serves as an Associate Editor of <a href=\"https:\/\/amstat.tandfonline.com\/action\/journalInformation?show=editorialBoard&amp;journalCode=uasa20\">Journal of the American Statistical Association, Theory and Methods<\/a>, an Associate Editor of <a href=\"https:\/\/amstat.tandfonline.com\/action\/journalInformation?show=editorialBoard&amp;journalCode=ubes20\">Journal of Business and Economic Statistics<\/a>, an Associate Editor of <a href=\"http:\/\/www3.stat.sinica.edu.tw\/statistica\/\">Statistica Sinica<\/a>, and an Associate Editor of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.journals.elsevier.com\/computational-statistics-and-data-analysis\/editorial-board\">Computational Statistics and Data Analysis.<\/a> He was an Associate Editor for Reproducibility (2019-2022) of Journal of the American Statistical Association, Applications and Case Studies. Dr. Tang is a Fellow of the <span class=\"RES9jf q8U8x\" role=\"heading\">Institute of Mathematical Statistics<\/span>, an Elected Member of the International Statistical Institute, a member of the American Statistical Association, and a member of the International Chinese Statistical Association.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Dr. Tang earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from the Department of Statistics, Iowa State University.
