Dr. Dong received his Bachelor\u2019s degree in mathematics from Tsinghua University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University in 2009.<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 22px;font-weight: 400;letter-spacing: normal;text-align: justify;background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-attachment: initial\">Dr. Dong\u2019s primary research focus is on sufficient dimension reduction and high-dimensional data analysis. His research has been published in statistical journals such as\u00a0<i>The Annals of Statistics<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Journal of the American Statistical Association<\/i>, and\u00a0<i>Biometrika<\/i>.\u00a0\u00a0His proposal \u201cNew Developments in Sufficient Dimension Reduction\u201d has been funded by the National Science Foundation.<\/p><p style=\"font-size: 22px;font-weight: 400;letter-spacing: normal;text-align: justify;background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-attachment: initial\">Dr. Dong&#8217;s other research interests include machine learning and business analytics.
