The event brought together undergraduate and graduate students from <strong data-start=\"1751\" data-end=\"1772\">Temple University<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1802\">Penn State University<\/strong> for another successful and engaging competition.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1853\" data-end=\"2261\">The 2026 case challenged students to analyze the <strong data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"1968\">impact of college football bowl games on local lodging markets<\/strong>, offering a valuable opportunity to explore how major sporting events influence hospitality performance and destination demand. By working through a real-world analytics problem, students demonstrated strong skills in data analysis, teamwork, critical thinking, and professional presentation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2263\" data-end=\"2502\">With the support of <strong data-start=\"2283\" data-end=\"2297\">CoStar STR<\/strong>, the competition continues to serve as an important platform for experiential learning, helping students connect classroom knowledge with industry application in sport, tourism, and hospitality analytics.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2504\" data-end=\"2779\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Temple is proud to support initiatives like this that foster innovation, collaboration, and career preparation.
