May 31, 2019 marks the 200th anniversary of Walt Whitman’s birth. On this significant occasion, Art in City Hall, an initiative of the City’s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE) will exhibit artwork inspired by Walt Whitman’s 1892 poem, Song of Myself, as well as work that explores and reflects on contemporary social issues. Juried by Gaby Heit.

Whitman at 200: Art and Democracy, a region-wide initiative is organized by the University of Pennsylvania Libraries with major support from The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. For more information, visit: whitmanat200.org
