These exhibits of politically-aware and activist art by an important African American women artist — along with Fahamu Pecou’s “Do or Die” at AAMP (to Aug. 25) — would make a great afternoon of art in two Philadelphia museums a mere 5 blocks away from each other. See Libby’s 2011 post on a solo exhibit by Clark at the now closed Snyderman Gallery.
