Are you graduating in August?

If you are graduating in August, but want to participate in the commencement ceremony in May, you will need to fill out a “Petition to Walk at Commencement” form.

You will need to have 8 or fewer credits to complete during the summer. If you have more than 8 credits, or will be completing your degree in the Fall but are still petitioning to walk with extenuating circumstances, approval will be considered on a case by case basis.

Note that you do NOT need to fill out this form if you will finish all your credits by the May commencement. This form is only for students who will still have a few classes to finish over the summer.
